Lately, I have been going through Brides to Be blogs in search / survey of how my friends and others do thier preparation for thier big day... Most of the blogs shows many things and I think its not as easy as we think to get married...Sure everybody wants to get married with a memorable way and wants that 1 day in their life be as perfect as it could...But still in mind that we only can make plans and it all in God's hand to make it come true as its written in our faiths...
As I was going through my friends blogs, I taught it would be nice and organized to set up my blog so that each things I search about the big day I complile here for my future references...It would be easy for me to look up when my big day appears 1 day...Actually I really dont know when I'll get married but my parents and relatives keep on asking me when is the date as im the oldest among my cousins and next in the list ;-)
To talk about wedding there is many things to think and consider about.. Bellow is some of the list:-
- Event place (taught to do the wedding in temple and dinner at hall)
- Card (taught of doing 2 separate cards 1 typical Indian Wedding Invitation for relatives & Indian friends and another for my Malay friends and officemates)
- List of guests
- Food & Drinks (since most of my friends are malays I must consider to do sepparate catering for them, taught of doing small kiosk serving sate, rojak and etc)
- Make up, henna, Saree to wear (for wedding), dress to wear (for dinner)
- Door gifts (taught to do something by my self e.g: chocolates, cake in jar, dried jelly, maybe give goddies bag if budget is available)
